How to Care for Your Sculpture

Cleaning

The Sculpture

Use a (dry) soft bristle paint brush to gently wipe away dust from the surface of the sculpture. If excess dust remains, use compressed air (~6-10 in. away) or a handheld air blower to lightly blow dust off the surface.

The Base

With a lint-free cloth or rag, fold the cloth and gently wipe away dust, being mindful of any elements that protrude outwards from the sculpture. If necessary, use a small amount of gentle cleaner sprayed onto the rag.

Handling

Be mindful when handling the sculpture, some elements (leaves, flowers, and mushrooms) may extend past the boundary of the wooden base and are fragile.

Travel

To ensure safe travel, your sculpture should always be transported in its custom box. If you no longer have your custom box, please reach out to me. No matter how much time has passed since you purchased your sculpture, you can always contact me to make you a new box, or to instruct you on how to safely package your piece. If shipping, always double box and provide at least 2.5 - 3 inches of cushion (bubble or packing peanuts) between the outer box and the inner custom one.
